Since I have a mouse problem in the building where I keep my mower, I have had several mouse nests built on top of my mower engine. It is a time-consuming job to remove the air shroud and clean them off every time I need to mow. It is equally time-consuming to remove the shroud after mowing to eliminate the shelter the mice are seeking. To avoid all that work, and the mice, I modified the shroud so I could open it without tools. Hopefully, this will discourage the mice from returning.
