Vise Repair
Rebuilding a broken bench vise. The leadscrew was broken and someone tried to weld it back together. Now that I have it, I will replace the leadscrew with an acme threaded rod and nut. This will require making a few replacement parts.
As of October 2023, the homemade bushing has been replaced with a bronze bushing and the screw end was turned down a little more to better clean up the weld joint.
